Out of every DC movie, the only decent ones have been the TDK trilogy. The rest have been pretty shit.
Im not even a fanboy, but DC's track record with capeshit is so awful that they can be risky.
Marvel did a good job finding their gamewinning formulas for their movies early, but thats all those movies are:part of a formula to put asses in seats for the sequel.

Because they hire real directors with vision.

Nolan's flicks are literally babby's first movie. Nothing deep about them, he just spells out everything as every character just spews exposition.
Snyder explores themes and concepts through visuals, symmetry, symbology, etc. The story is told through the movies images as it should be.

Snyder understands that simply including comic iconic moments isn't enough to make a good adaptation. The death of Superman in BvS was far more crucial to Superman's character development than it ever was in the comics.
Every time I watch it it gets better.
