I think the entire "fan"/enjoyment concept is reddit. The only cinema I can have any respect for are films that actively seek not to be liked/appease the sensibilities of audiences. The Comedy and The Counselor are two films that spring to mind, but "like" is the wrong word. If I was to like them then both I and the movies would then be propagating the reddit sensibility.

Used to adore this movie.
Rewatched it recently... hated it. Didn't find it funny. Saw all their 'funny' subtle shit and I could just feel how they were wanking over the script as they added really lame stuff in and ignored it for shock value. Worst case of trying to be funny by being unfunny IMO.
