Fantastic Four (2015) is a very underrated gem.
The first 40 minutes are brilliant, a shame that the company had to mess with Trank's vision and hence so much action scenes were cut out during the 3rd act. What we were left with was an unfinished fight scene at the end climax which is why it is so lackluster.

I don't think I understand it mainly because I have serious doubts if Zack understands it himself.
He throws out so many shapes and colors (metaphorically). He uses a lot of symbolism but never builds his own mythology on top of it.
It's a nail bomb of half baked ideas and pointing out things...it's nothing.
