Books are better
>>71687466
This is a good example on why you should never put more than one book per movie. Also the books were better
>>71687466
As someone who loved the books the way this movie used the source material bothered the hell out of me.
>>71687575
>>71687620
soit is the most underrated
I love that movie
Also the first Browning Kino

fuck off. discussing the film here
No one ever talks about this classic.
>>71687466
It was also Jim Carreys last good movie(along with eternal sunshine). I think he died a little inside after this.
>>71687713
What the fuck does /fit/ have to do with anything?
>>71688116
Never seen it. Worth a watch?
>>71687466
They butchered the story by putting three in one but that was also cool in retrospect
>>71688119
>looks at IMDB
Holy shit, you're right, it's literally all been downhill since
>>71688253
If you like soccer then yeah also green Street hooligans when you feel lonely and wish you had some bros
>not appreciating this modern classic for the masterpiece it is
Reminder they had fucking Jude Law as the narrator as well. As well as a Meryl streep appearance. It is pure underrated.
>>71687466
probably jim carrey's best role, right behind the grinch
>>71688342
/dunkaccino/ gets love on here daily
https://youtu.be/33PSQjs3lrk
That movie sucked with its inconsisty in the plot and atmosphere
I recently bought the 13 books to re-read and am surely disappointed remembering this movie.
However there's a Netflix series coming out which I'm sure can be covered in under 20 episodes
>Olaf only had the orphans for one book and would never go back to his custody on purpose.
>he tries marrying the first in the first book
>for some reason the movie skips through 3 books and ends by going back to the end of the first book because Olaf got custody back because Shoom Shoom Sheepidy boop
>>71688672
but will they get Violet right again?
>>71688308
I always found it crazy how few soccer movies there were compared to football/basketball/baseball movies, though I suppose it has a lot to do with hollywood being an american institution where soccer is not as popular. I think Green street hooligans is a british movie, I may be wrong. You'd think bongistan would make more
>>71688796
The new actress for Violet actually looks like they went out of their way to find someone as close to Emily Browning as possible, but even younger
>>71688796
It's going to be all GoT casts this time including the baby
>>71688879
Is violet 13 in the books? Wtf
>>71687466
Agree with you desu OP
The part at ~1:25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTRJLLLt7oM when Klaus discovers the eye in the attic is one of the most striking things I've ever seen/heard for some reason.
Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Why don't people find this movie entertaining?
>>71689047
It's way better than the turd Jurassic World, and even has a few kino moments
>>71689029
Ya, the whole ending left me pretty floored for some reason. It's what made me re-watch recently.
>>71689047
I don't like any of the Jurassics except the first one tbqhwy. It's like they have no soul.
>>71688796
Going to be hard to top
>I'm the monster? You're the monster! These children tried to warn you, but you wouldn't listen. No one ever listens to children!
I fucking love this line.
>>71689047
For me at least it's because i'm butthurt over it barely resembling the book.
>>71688481
Completely agree.
>>71688481

what
either this
or speed racer by the trap brothers
>>71690420
>>71690516
Ravenous is one of my favorite. All very tasty picks. Minus speed racer.
Time Bandits and Brazil too but Baron Munchausen especially is overlooked despite being family kino

Carrey was goat in this
>>71690708
pretty QT. looks like she's hiding some surprisingly large knockers under there
>>71690611
Actually haven't seen this yet. Will check it out.
>>71690827
Watchmen gets a fair amount of love on here. I don't know if I'd call it underrated. It's certainly good.
>>71687466
The greatest movie adaption of an anime no one has ever heard of.
>>71687466
Almost every Colin Farrell movie desu
>>71691578
Ienjoyedthis movie when I saw it in theaters.
Haven't seen it since but it has some memorable moments, along with a fair amount of cheese.
>guy named Snake Oiler
>uses Snakes to distract other drivers
>and oil
>>71691578
I thought everybody watched this as a kid? Dexter's Lab even parodied it.
>>71692009
He means the live action remake from a few years back.
>>71687466
Billy Connolly's scenes are the cosiest pieces of cinema in history. I want to live in his house and study cool reptiles.
>>71692226
They could have made a whole movie just about him. Jim Carrey pretend Ling to be all those different characters was pretty great too.
