Sony will do what it has to make sure this movie plays there. It will make the quality of the movie suffer beyond what we were already trying to comprehend. And yet the movie will be a box office success because of global revenue thanks to international markets like China despite being a ho-hum performance in theaters domestically.
And that marginal success is all that is necessary to keep the SJW train chugging along.
