Bigelow makes great movies, I suppose Campion does too and while I respect her, I don't like her movies (just not my taste, though I enjoyed the TV show she did).
Jodie Foster is a terrible director and only keeps getting jobs cuz she's Jodie Foster. All her movies are terrible and visually dull.
