So, for real, I don't know what the fuck this is about but I had a fucked up experience seeing Prisoners.
Front row was like taken up by down syndrome people.
I don't know why. I don't know who thought it was a good idea. I can't even imagine how come.
I am not even making it up. They were laughing at all the wrong stuff, throwing popcorn, and pretty much clapping and making that morning laughs they make at some of the more gruesome and dark material in the movie. Sometimes at just sudden cuts from one scene to the next.
This would have been something I wanted to complain about but then the movie reveals the main antagonist as a mental retard. I just couldn't even process it and just tried to Zen block out the rest of the experience. I think the person was under a car and that's it.
Fucking retards ruined this movie for me. Ironically.

The movie is literally a 3/10, not enough quips to make this worthwhile and doesn't set up sequel. The tone is way too dark and barely has any action in it, there should be 2-3 more fist fights in the movie. It's just not fun and a movie should always be fun.

Wolverine versus Donnie Darko
This movie made my blood boil.
First and second acts were PERFECT! Excellent acting, cinematography, feel, mood, etc. Stripped down story but with bigger themes and implications.
And then the third act basically turns it into some bullshit, TV grade who-dun-it where it was the innocent seeming old lady.
What they should have done? Easy.
Paul Dano is still a captive to Hugh Jackman. They find the real killer at the end of the second act. The third act then becomes about Hugh Jackman debating whether he should turn himself in and release Dano or kill him and protect himself. All the while Bubbleboy knows something is up and is closing in on them.
This works story wise and thematically wise, as Hugh Jackman realizes that, if he wants to get off scott free, that he must become a monster, the same monster he thought his actions were out to destroy.

Litter-rully going to a movie theaters means you are trusting like a hundred people not to ruin your movie experience. lets say you go to a pg 13 movie that means that a good portion are teens and children with parents, would you trust a group of teens and children to stay quiet for two hours while you try to enjoy cinema? Went to see Hobbit Part 1 when it first came out. Only about three people in theater. It was weekend during the day.
Two grandparents come in with their two grandkids (4 and 6 probably).
Kids just starts running around the theater like mad, not shutting the fuck up. GPs didn't do a damn thing.
I eventually left, snuck into Zero Dark Thirty.
