Why does he do all those retarded stunts by himself? Has he any sense of danger?

Safety vest was CG'ed out.
>The famous rock climbing sequence was filmed at Dead Horse Point in Utah. Tom Cruise was on cables which were then digitally removed. Ron Kauk was the climbing double and the overhang stunt was performed by main stunt double, Keith Campbell. John Woo was so scared each time but "Tom insisted on doing it".
and he does it for us.
If you really want something nuts
>(at around 1h 50 mins) For the "knife-in-the-eye" scene, Tom Cruise insisted that a real knife be used, and that it stop exactly one quarter-inch from his eyeball, instead of somewhere vaguely near his eye, as John Woo suggested. The knife itself was connected to a cable that was measured carefully in order to achieve the effect and Cruise insisted that Dougray Scott use all his strength in the ensuing struggle.
"Come the fuck at me, Xenu."

Get out.

Minority Report. That movie held up really well.
If you haven't seen it, watch The Outsiders. I don't think it's a particularly great movie, but it's interesting to see a cast of people right before they made it big.
If you're looking for just a gay, great time all around, you can never go wrong with Top Gun.

Easily one of Cruise's best performances. I'm not talking about the "respect the cock" stuff. You know what scene. Feelings in spades.

I can never watch this movie because when I first read the book it made my cry like a bitch and the movie ended up doing the same thing
I do wish he would do some non blockbuster action movies from time to time. After Collateral he kinda stopped doing "smaller" movies, which is a shame imo.

He'll be in Mena (drug running movie about a pilot) just in time for the next Oscar season. Here's hoping for a nomination.
