Thank you based Carpenter.

It predates Friday the 13th, Halloween II was a little more F13, a little less Halloween (i.e. higher body count, gorier deaths) but is a worthy follow-up.

Part III like getting smashed repeatedly in the face by a hammer, and everything after that was generic slasher garbage.

Happy to have been of service.

It's probably the most influential horror movie ever but it's not super impressive to watch now IMO.

H, HII and H20 are three essential Halloween movies.

Yes it is.

Your simple-minded statement is not that impressive now.

The most disappointing ending for the best scream queen ever! What were they thinking with that movie?!?!?
>>
It has aged horribly. I rewatched it recently it almost plays out like a fucking comedy..

Still love Zombie's Halloween films.

That's not how this movie ended

Was that Halloween 8 or one of the shitty Rob Zombie remakes? Because either way that one was trash.

If he would've cleaned up his characters, it would've been more tolerable. As is, it didn't pay the original homage at all. Strippers, crack, abuse, greasy hair, 100,000 cartons of cigs, cheap makeup, etc. Total SHIT!

I think we can all agree that the originals were the best. They didn't need to use smoke and mirrors to tell a great horror story.
