I was raised a catholic, but I hated it, I wanted to watch anime instead. Anime was and is better. Plus I've always loved reading about the various world myths much better than any shit I was forced to at catechism. Nowadays I don't give a shit about the abrahamic religions but I think the polytheist systems are cool, there's a god for everything whereas abrahamic religions just ignore or make up hateful bullshit about that which they can't/don't want to face.
