Na, that's more the plot of Gwenpool. SG would be trying to join the Defenders, the Avengers, and any other team while getting rejected. Meanwhile she accidentally runs across a major plot by a top tier villain (Doom if they get F4 back, MODOK/AIM would be funny if they didn't) where decides to stop it herself along with some other ragtag rejects. They save the day, the Avengers/Defenders/Whoever show up too late and yet get the credit when the media arrive. SG & co miffed go off to form their own team... they're just not sure what to name it.
