I thought it was really comfy and good, one of the few indy movies I can tolerate

its the only >le quirky dysfunctional family movie thats felt genuine. specifically the shitty car. the way it constantly breaks down, they have push it and hop in one by one to get it running, how the horn on it is broken and constantly honking. thats some real shit, thats shit that i had to deal with as a kid in a >le quirky dysfunctional family. its a pretty relatable movie, to me at least.
also its literally classic paul dano, one of his best performances. and the soundtrack is great
liked it on my first viewing but dislike it more and more with time. Feels like it's trying so hard to be cute
