The Mummy 3 is pure actionkino to be honest. The CGI is a little lousy but it's great fun.

Mummy 3 seemed a bit mediocre upon release but it's still better than anything released since then, in the age of capeshit saturation it looks like a masterpiece. Things are only getting worse and it's going to keep going that way.

Sorry I could never get into the idea of how the original actress for his wife was replaced and I didnt like the actor who was playing his son.
Otherwise yes the action scenes in Mummy 3 are really great fun but yeah I just didnt like these actors and felt they were mis cast.
As for as original backstories go: the Asian Mummy idea was excellent and was great to see Brendan go up against Jet Li. Shame there will never be a 4th movie.

Mummy Returns is still one of my favorite movies. It just gets everything right when it comes to a sequel.
Sure the CGI is a bit out dated but the script writing, action/adventure feel is a 10/10.

This is very underrated. I loved the background guitars that composer John Debney added in during the final fight. So much emotion and so much testosterone that we never see in movies much nowadays.
