why is twd so popular if z-nation is superior in everything?

>main character's not hot
are you sure?
because z nation is a comedy, apparently?
>>71491491
because the cheese wheel
>>71491491
both shows suck but i couldnt get through 3 episodes of Z because I kept getting thrown off by the fact that the black guy from Oz wasn't in his wheelchair anymore
>>71491491
both of these shows are shit
>>71491491
Because while they're both shit, Z Nation is tailored to the special kind of mouthbreather that likes the idea of so-bad-it's-good films but needs to be beaten over the head with them and have them done on purpose a la Sharknado.
Because zombies are fucking cliche and people are getting sick of it. Maybe if they created it a decade ago people might care.

This. Not to mention The Walking Dead very VERY occasionally has a good epiosde that keeps people going.
>>71497979
Meh they're both equally shit

nah I agree. Walking Dead occasionally has an episode that feels like it belongs in a decent show. The most recent season had none though.
Doc and 10K are more based than all TWD cast and 10K is a badass Sniper at the same age as those retarded teens from TWD like Alicia and that school shooter.

WD occasionally has great episodes and it has decent actors playing likeable realistic characters (with the exception of the old woman, a Mary Sue nuttcase meme character).
I love the comic, so the show is a fun side.
Videogames and comics are really the only place to find good horror/survival type story crafting, however. Even then it is quite rare.
I couldn't get through the trailer for Z Nation, looks like typical American sitcom nonsense.
