How long will it be before this film comes to be appreciated as the unsung masterpiece it is?

I always thought sly dredd had the feel of mega city super highways and blocks but Stallone just ran it into the ground by misunderstanding the source material.

I like the design of the MegaCity One, but it's never utilized. People complain about how in the Urban film they spend the entire movie in Peach Trees, but even then we get a better feel for the way the city works than we do in the Stallone film.

Stallone is pretty bad in it but there are few things it gets right.
Look of the city is great, as is the wasteland stuff. Mean Machine and the family were pretty good too
But the real star of the show is the ABC warrior.
That mother fucker looked like he walked straight off the page.
If they did it now it would just be garbage CGI.
