That, coupled with the Darkseid dream (the only reason I know of Darkseid is because I was a faggot when I was younger and watched all of Smallville), it makes sense that the Flash is warning Bruce about not letting Superman become corrupted by Darkseid, and not let Lois Lane due in some pivotal point coming up in to Justice League 1 and 2.
Flash obviously comes from Bruce's fever dream of the Darkseid future, or somehow the Flash influenced a dream of the future on to Bruce by projecting in to his dreams/consciousness.
I am no DC fanboy, as I rate BvS a 7.5. I never saw the theatrical, but I can see how this extended version fills in the gaps. However, the pacing was pretty atrocious, and I was pretty miffed at all the real world celebrities being shoved in to the movie, it took out all of my immersion. Also, those Lex Luthor stolen files were so out of tone with the rest of the movie, it was like watching a movie trailer inside a movie.

I honestly thought the intro was fucking REALLY dragged out.
Having seen Synder's Watchmen, the indulgence of slow-mo in the intro of the movie (like the intro of showing the original Watchmen with the old news reel tapes set to a Bob Dylan song) with Bruce's origin really was stretched out too long.
Coupling that with a lot of severe hamfisting (I get it, Synder, no need to hit me over the head with the massive symbolism or exposition), it got tiring real fast.
It felt like a really long intro to Justice League, with a large action sequence at the end to taper all the set up of characters and their motivations.
I've never read comics and this is the first capeshit I've watched in about 10 years. I legit had no idea what the fuck was happening during this scene or who the guy was
