Why is his career on a downward spiral? Will he ever recover?

He lost his abilities in his final year of loveline or so and hasn't been funny since. It's now just out of touch rants and outwardly directed hostility with a few words delivered in the tone that you would deliver a joke absent the actual joke.

He was never funny, never smart, never likeable, never entertaining.
You sound like a faggot asking why Maddox "isn't funny anymore''

C-list celebrity doing well as a C-lister.

He was fucking brilliant during prime loveline.
Now he's just an angry republican.

They were trying him out for segments on the O'reilly Factor for a few months but it seems like they dropped him

>Now he's just an angry republican.
There's nothing wrong with this, especially with the left being such fucking tossers
t. former liberal

he's libertarian kind of.
Everyone just go to loveline tapes and listen to some good loveline. They still hold up for the most part.
He thinks podcasting is a legitimate media outlet.

It is for a few people.
Carolla is a really great improvisational comedian. Give him a constant stream of retarded bullshit to respond to, like he had in Loveline, and he produces gold.
But somewhere along the way, someone told him he should spend more time ranting about the same bullshit like a crotchety old man, and that became his schtick. It's tired, and not at all funny. And this coming from someone who would consider themself a fan of Adam. He needs to get back to what he's good at, not become a pundit.

according to what he and the people around him said on loveline, everybody told him to cut out the rants and that they weren't funny.
Near the end of his LL days he was already getting more angry and less funny.
