I am actually impressed by the many practicals that they made for this movie but then: this is a Ghostbusters flick so it has to have a big budget.
But the real main issue are those fucking ghosts that do not look realistic or scary at all like in the 1984 one.
WHY did theyjust add glow sticks to the bodies of the group of people at 9:48?? It looks absolutely horrible in the trailer and not even ghost like at all. No one in their right mind would believe this is okay especially on a big budget production.
If James Wan was on this set, he would literally tear every ghost design apart.

Isn't this almost guaranteed to flop at this point? Maybe at best break even? It's a film with abysmal PR releasing in the crowded summer months of a year full of poor box office performances. Early tracking estimates are low at the moment and word of mouth has the potential to kill it. People pay more attention to reviews now than ever before. BFG, Finding Dory, and Secret Life of Pets will eat away at the younger demographics and Star Trek Beyond will pull further attention from it.
