Call me crazy, but I think Batman Begins was his best work
It had great balance of "Ultra Realistic Batman" and "This is still a little cartoony", the Villains were pretty cool, and it had a message that wasn't forced down your throat.
NOLANS ONLY GOOD FILM WAS FOLLOWING

Nolan makes great movies but it's a little sad to see people don't like him that much. Hugh Jackman made fun of him in some interview and said he didn't want to play in his movies post-prestige because the scripts were "ridiculous", even though Nolan kept asking him.

sauce?
A bland filmmaker who exclusively makes two-dimensional movies, writes horrible dialogue and is typically saved by the story or the acting. He's the type of director IMDB film buffs consider the greatest alive, like Tarantino or PTA.

I agree. Batman Begins was a Batman film. TDK was Goodfellas with one of the characters dressing up as a bat.

Only one character makes it seem that way and he's barely in it.
The Prestige, Memento, Following, Inception, Insomnia: Okay/Bad with good moments
Batman Begins, TDK: okay as Batman movies, bad otherwise.
TDKR, Interstellar: Pure shit.

Yeah. The Dark Knight was goodfellas. Goodfellas has trucks flipping and grabbing people from skyscrapers and clowns with rocket launchers and tank cars riding around on rooftops.
