Why would Lynch make a pandering reddit show? He always does whatever the fuck he wants to. FWWM wasn't like the show, and people didn't like it. I suspect the revival will be something totally different and as weird as Inland Empire, and people will probably hate it because it's different.

It's my hope and dream that it's a continuation of what lynch has been working on in his last 3 movies. I know it won't be but I seriously hope that it will be.
Inland Empire bombed hard even for an art house movie and his money financed a large part of it. It broke him and this is a chance for him to recoup some of what he's lost.
