The scenes in Episode One seem to happen over the course of several months, at least. There is a scene where Bill carries a large, long, thin present wrapped in Christmas paper into "St. Luke's University" in "Bristol" in wintertime with snow. Other scenes seem to take place in various seasons without snow and with Bill dressed for various kinds of weather.
Someone said that the Doctor is a lecturer at St. Luke's.
There is also a scene with Bill's friend Heather (Stephanie Hyam), soaking wet, seemingly possessed and gliding towards Bill, rather than walking. Bill runs away afraid.
As usual, there is a lot of running.
Another scene in warmer weather and likely the last scene of the episode, had Bill going inside the TARDIS on the front lawn of the St. Luke's with the Doctor.
I also heard that the Doctor initially has trouble opening the TARDIS with a snap and tries unsuccessfully to open the doors by clapping his hands.
However, there is another scene where he successfully opens the doors with a snap. He seems to be saying, "All of time and space." while doing this, but I may be wrong about that.

This is what I know from the recent filming but I don't want to post something which belongs on the "On Location" thread. I will say that, of all the slates photographed during filming, none of them were for Episode Two, so perhaps director Lawrence Gough is concentrating solely on Steven Moffat's episode, rather than Frank Cottrell-Boyce's at the moment.
There were lots of photos of Matt Lucas in a red coat for filming on June 27, but no reports about what Nardole is up to.

The origins of /who/ back in 2013, I don't know how many of you were there for it, but it was coming off of the back of Series 7 and going into the long hiatus before Day of the Doctor. There was a sense of a community bonding and deciding to go in for the long haul. The userbase was such a different picture back then, there were memes and tripfags most of you wouldn't recognise, and all of that had been building up since at least 2010 as live threads and pre-threads became more organised (and then less popular after the clusterfuck of S6).
However, as with any general, the risk was that by creating a 24/7 presence that has to be maintained, it starts to exist for its own sake rather than the content within it having any reason to exist. That's not a new observation. The true problem with /who/ and the reason it's devolved to its current state is deeper still.
Inevitably, when it came time for new episodes again, and the crowd who were used to having on and off threads suddenly returned to find an entrenched general culture having made them redundant, there was a knock-on effect. All of a sudden, rather than Doctor Who threads being pockets of opportunity full of potential fun, they were a permanent all-consuming stream. And this affected the sense of community that might otherwise have existed.
So now, instead of users excitedly coming together in hotspots of activity, it was like they were being dragged down into some kind of swamp. The series-watching experience transformed on /tv/; before it had a serialised quality along with the episodes, but the newfangled 24/7 vortex effect killed that sense of potential. OC, discussion, memes etc. surrounding new episodes weren't so much being pressure cooked as left to fester.
In turn this affected the kinds of users who were willing to hang around, and the atmosphere. Most healthy generals keep themselves alive through intense circlejerking.
Sadly /who/ was never capable of this. And I've worked out the reason.
