Opinions on the Saw franchise?
I thought the general idea was brilliant but cinemtography-wise it was always bit cringey, especially in the last one.
>cinematography-wise
Wanna know how I know you don't know what you're talking about?
You pretty much have it right. Great concept with meh execution.

I was going to say filmmaking-wise but it didn't sound right. Don't be pedantic
I've never seen any of this movies since recently. I've always had an image in my head what the movies were like, and when I finally watched it, there were no surprises. I 'm not interested in exploring the franchise further.

The first one was a legitimately good movie. It wasn't torture porn.
Then normal people got a hold of it and like everything else they just cater to that.

I'm getting too old for this shit Detective has his gun pointed at Muppet Man
"let me go or your partner dies"
partner is arms length away from Jigsaw who's holding a knife
total bullshit
I somewhat like it. I enjoy watching what sort of devices they've come up with and how things play with the characters. Oh, and also twists because twists are great. The movies are something extremely simple yet entertaining enough to rewatch every few years, and it's also neat that none of them is particularly memorable so there's always plenty of shit I've completely forgotten about so it feels like watching it for the first time again.
