Snyder>Nolan
Nolan is an overrated director.

He doesn't though. Snyder is more of a visual director.
>Even at his most pedestrian or bombastic, Snyder makes a far more engaging film than Christopher Nolan (an executive producer of “Batman v Superman”) ever did—because Nolan presumes to know and to show, whereas Snyder wants to see. Even his slender philosophical world seems like he’s discovering it, not delivering it.

You are correct, but even with their differences I think they more or less are in the same level.

Synder does lots fancy shots and likes "deep symbolism" but totally fails at making good movies.
He sidetracks the plot for psudeo intellectual wankery and /tv/ eats it up.
>omg religious symbolism! Clearly this is too deep for plebs only superior patricians like me can understand.
Literally everyone understands the symbolism in his movies, its so blunt its hard not to. People hate them because they're shit not because they don't get it.
Do you think Snyder will ever make a non capeshit movie again or will he be forever stuck making movies for edgy teens?

He's next project is the Illustrated man. It's going to be the remake of the novel.
