Saw it when I was fifteen. Very funny at parts, But made me cry. Second best chaplin film imo (behind city lights)

I thought it was overlong and didn't tell a memorable story like City Lights, Modern Times, and The Kid.
I liked the in-town scenes, especially at the dance hall, better than the cabin and outdoor scenes.
In any case, avoid the version with Chaplin narrating. He has a good speaking voice but it doesn't seem appropriate for that film. I like to see a film the way it was originally released and for a silent film that includes the title cards.
