Margaery is the one who nukes the Sept. Not Cersei. Qyburn was bribed off by Margaery and Olena around the time that she married Tommen and has been their double agent against Cersei.
Margaery makes it look like she died in the explosion, so that Tommen kills himself thinking Cersei did it. Margaery flees to High Garden with the remaining Wildfire caches. After Tommen dies, Qyburn tells Cersei all of this and for his trouble, gets torn in two by the Mountain.
Arya meets up with Jorah. The talk and Arya reluctantly decides to join him to search for the Grayscale cure, because she's burnt out on killing.
Walder Frey kills his daughter/Edmure's wife and son, rather than let Jamie send them to Riverrun to be with Edmure. Jamie kills Walder and has his men burn Walder's home to the ground and kill the entire Frey clan off in the process. Jamie has a big speech where he basically proclaims that he embraces evil afterwords.
Danny refuses to marry Euron and Euron gets his revenge by bringing out his magic horn. The horn works quite different in the show: it puts the three dragons into an eternal slumber and he sales off, having eliminated Danny's big advantage. Danny and her fleet pursue Euron.
Varys cuts a deal with the new Queen of Dorne, to have them enter into an alliance with Margaery to attack Kings Landing.
Littlefinger brings John a letter from Howland Reed confirming L+J. The Tower of Joy sequence ends with a cutaway to John reading the letter's ending revealing that he's a Targ.
Littlefinger tries to get Sansa to marry Robin as payment for saving John's butt. Sansa refuses, and accuses him of lusting after her as a surrogate for her mom. Littlefinger walks away (but not before giving John the letter) as far as Sansa shutting him up with the accusation of his motives regarding her.
The Northern lords legitimize John and make him King of the North.
This is the final scene: John being proclaimed "John Stark! King of the North!"
