OP here actually borrows from Aliens and predator to create a pretty well-developed tone, and uses it to compensate for the lack of skilled acting rather than just shoving a bunch of references down our throat to placate the game's fans. It beats AVP for writing and manages to survive the vidya/brodown without being a campy cringe-fest.
