Hey trekfags - what is a good Dax episode? I'm very casual and just remembered how much I liked her as a youth.

The UK now lives in a post-scarcity society. It's only a matter of months before we discover warp travel.

Okay, but what is the best Dax episode?
>>71227854
All of the Jadzia-centric episodes range from meh to terrible. So the best 'Dax episode' is an Ezri one, Field of Fire

I like Jadzia.

I like Jadzia too, but you have to admit that as a character she's paper-thin compared to the rest of the cast. No real depth or character development of any kind.
She works as a supporting character, but any episode that focuses on her flounders. The Ezri episodes work far better because she's actually a well-rounded character with flaws

>Field of Fire
Featuring best Dax, Joran

yeah he's great

Given the history of Dax, she really should have been the most most interesting character. It's probably mostly due to her paper-thin performance/ probably the writers deciding she'd be the 'pretty character' and was just there for eye candy. Characters like Kira and Garrik are good examples of the opposite.
Jadzia episodes (without Worf) that I can remember:
Dax
Playing God
Blood Oath
Equilibrium
Meridian
Facets
Rejoined
Most are pretty meh. Try Blood Oath or Facets, those are a couple of good ones

Blood Oath is a fun episode, even though it makes little sense that Jadzia could just leave her post, run off to kill some albino and then come back to work like business as usual without any consequences.

Yeah that pissed me off, it really seemed like something her character wouldn't have done.
