where most of the cast act like complete retards and some guaranteed laugh on several scenes
never really watched comedy films before my aunt lent me this but the film and sequel almost destroyed my sides

basically look up mel brooks and the zucker brothers, they are the only ones who were any good at it
the modern versions of these types of films like "____ Movie" (teen, scary, etc) are generally all terrible, mostly because they are not clever and mostly referential humor with very little plot
Cabin Boy was way ahead of it's time.
