I really admire these fags and I mean it. Feels like a superpower. I'm very afraid of heights, even places that are rationally safe, with good high balcony ahead of me or glass or net covering the thing and I still can't get close. One time I was travelling and some friends sat on a rock on a high cliff and I couldn't get 5 meters close to it. Some places that are just one or two stores up and they scare the shit out of me while some other places, although very very high don't scare me at all and I really don't know why. I've tried multiple times to get over it, and made some progress in that I can climb stares and things like that (yes, it was worst), but when it comes to life and death situations I stay out of it cause I know the anxiety itself can make me slip or do something dumb and kill me, while on the other hand I think that perhaps only a life and death situation could mean the real thing for me to get over with.
