Every season is one day in the purge (think 24) and follows different character / characters every episode. First episode be a regular joee who finds himself stuck outside. Second could be a regular band of killers which turn on eachother through the episode. Have the third be a group of questionable vigilantes trying to save innocent people stuck outside, with each ending of each episode tying to the next. (Joe is killed by killers, killers turn and one is turned over to the vigilantes, etc)

Finally, she corners him. But the Purge has ended. He throws it in her face. He's won. He's survived the Purge and she can't do shit. And then she disembowels him with a shotgun.
Alternatively: Same premise, but from the guy's perspective. The audience doesn't know of his crimes, he's just this unassuming unremarkable guy being hunted by this unstoppable Lady Death Wish. Third act reveal and all that. Same ending.
