The "strong, independent woman" archetype can never be done right, because it is an archetype, not realism. Real people all have flaws. Very few are truly strong, and even less are independent since man is inherently social.
"Strong, independent women" is just a feminism meme and it becomes obvious when put up against real life. A real feminist character would just be a normal girl who does normal feminine things.

It's a lot of fun but the two separate movies are super uneven. Part 1 is all stylized fights and Part 2 is where Tarantino hid all his character monologues.

My understanding is that the woman doesn't need to be physically strong, but emotionally and mentally strong during adversities. She doesn't just succumb to the problem.
