Never checked out the comics, don't really want to read ahead and spoil things for me, plus they might take a different direction. I can say that it can get pretty scary especially in episode 2. I like the protagonist a lot

I loved the two seasons of The Knick, many fags recommended Banshee to me, so I have all four seasons of that on the DVR as well...will hopefully get through all that before the end of summer
and that new Quarry series looks like it may be worth checking out as well

Preacher is not that Bad, At least they are building up for Saint of Killers and The Grail. First Season most likely ends with The Angels telling Jesse that God Abandoned Heaven. Just Imagine Jody kidnapping Jess as the first season cliffhanger.
