I'm an actress that you guys call "waifu" and I have huge tiddays.
no pics silly boys.
Torontofag here. I don't work in the industry but a few of my buddies do. Got to visit Suits' law office set in Downsview Park and meet some extras/minor recurring characters, and also some of the cast of Suicide Squad when they were shooting here last summer. It's easy to pretend you're a PA and drop some names ("Oh yeah I worked with so-and-so from this production").
If you're looking for a job, join a union and do bitch work for a few months and go to lots of staff parties

I know everyone is shitposting but if you actually care I did. It's not fun, it's stressing as shit. If you have an ego, leave it at the door. Everyone is super serious even in comedies. Being able to be completely silent is important. Actors and actresses are alike are usually bro as shit. When it's over or during breaks it's fun as shit. As long as you're not in the middle of a shoot, you're gonna have fun.
I wouldn't even know how to get into the "industry". Philly aint got shit here.

I've worked on several local productions. Mostly commercials, music videos and pointless short films. Biggest thing I worked on was a film with Ewan Mcgregor as a day player. Shook his hand.
I don't work in film anymore. Not enough consistent work.

It really is a connections-based career. My advice is to meet lots and lots of people from the get-go to get your foot in the door cause referrals mean a lot. And once you're in try not to piss off anyone worth knowing at least until you get a good rep, because word gets around pretty quick.
Concept artist for summer movies, I did this work a couple of times.
Everything was fast, lot of corrections, stress and a lot of NDA to sign. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and literaly you have to forget about "your vision", since you transcript to images anotherĀ“s ideas.

I know, thanks.
I'm hoping of working my ass off that in a few years I can be able to get sponsored and find work and live in Los Angeles, because we all know that's where the real industry is.
Yeah at film school
Just cuck my life up senpai

Good luck. Nothing wrong with the Toronto/Van scene though, there's always steady gigs in TV and the occasional summer blockbuster production.
You also have a choice in getting involved in overseas productions, a friend of mine worked in several shows for the South Korean andIndianmarkets
