Frankenstein's monster was my favorite character on the show and all of it felt like a waste because he literally played no part in helping the others in saving London from Dracula.

I'd be totally down with a show just about Eva Green as a victorian era dealing with her faith as she believes the devil is ruining her life and shit but... Penny Dreadful was not that show, it tried to shove in 90 other things that were not in any way related to that, and it didnt even resolve Eva's shit very well, so....
vanessa was way too plot centric. they should have just given her an ability like the rest of the gang and had them hunt monsters. have malcolm use his gorillion dollars to set up a new base every season and provide the gang with better weapons and they could hunt monsters in new countries. egypt season would have been awesome.
