When Littlefinger asks Salsa to marry him, she'll accept but only if he kills Jon. They will. Arya will come back and kill Salsa who is now an evil ruler.

I assumed it had something to do with Petyr himself, and it might, but I want to think she had some much greater strategy going on in her head. It just seems they make it clear she didn't. When asked what to do she says idk but like you said she wanted to trick Jon into doing what he would do, perhaps to get all of Ramseys forces out on the field. Fuck even last episode she decided to turn back to watch Ramsey's face getting eaten by dogs and took obvious pleasure from it.
Sansa is legitimately a better character than Dany. Yeah she is annoying and stupid but that's the point, she is supposed to be naive. When she does something stupid it backfires badly on her, the worst that could happen to Dany when she acts retarded is lose a guy who she didn't even know for that long.
