Without the context of the film, most of equilibrium's fights are maximum cringe. They fit the film itself pretty well though. Whether the film appeals to you though is a completely different matter.

The premise was pretty good: bunch of bank robbers stage a heist to rob a bank location that's in the process of closing down so the customer traffic is super low, only to end up getting trapped in there with a serial killer on the inside and the cops on the outside. Now, take that premise, blow the entire budget getting Henry Rollins into it, and film the rest with the quality of a high school TV productions project. Just tragic.
