I literally don't get this fucking movie.
Why are old vintage movies so fucking weird? What the hell were they thinking back then? I fucking don't get the 70s/80s era of movies.

>70s/80s era of movies
>vintage movies
70's and 80's movies are not vintage just because you're millenial scum. Also, those two decades happen to be the GOAT eras for film. Indisputably.
So why don't you hop on back to /r/flicks kiddo? We have Kino to discuss.

i like a bunch of old movies, and this one was "good", but don't like rewatching it as much as others
>>70957120
they were all on drugs, not just some of them, all of them, and they were experimenting with ideas because before then it was all straight forward stories from the 50s/60s
then the drugs kicked in and they decided LE RANDUM was meritous

>before then it was all straight forward stories from the 50s/60s
knowing this little about cinema
>>70957233
>he's not a millenial
How does it feel to be rotten old, grandpa?
>>70957120
>He considers A Clockwork Orange to be "weird"
You ain't seen shit, kiddo.
>>70957120
70's era is essentially the best era in film.
Kubrick's vision of a dystopian future is fantastic. This film is something else. It's been years since I have seen it, but what didnt you get?
>>70958826
>best era in film
only if you're on drugs tho.
>>70957233
You're a millennial dude
>>70957233
if you're not a "millenial", you are almost 40. this makes you even more pathetic than the average 4channer, with your memes and reaction faces.
>>70957233
>he thinks he isn't a millennial
Then you're either underage or a grandpa
>>70957120
>Why are old vintage movies so fucking weird? What the hell were they thinking back then?
>>70957120
I don't really get it either. But I don't really get Kubrick in general.
>>70958888
>70s confirmed shit-tier
Except for a few exceptions, this decade sucks in general. Fucking hippies.
>>70958888
>only if you're on drugs tho.
that's the best way to watch movies
Basicallythe people couldn't think properly yet back then because most important tech wasn't invented yet they didn't have the internet or anything so they couldn't compare thoughts with each other so they basically just did whatever and had to wait to see if it sticks, the 90s had modern filming tech so films look good already but they're still weird, people act all funny and they don't know how to think yet, but at least it's not all yellow and green and brown like older movies, then late 90s onward it's real movies like today.
