I'm not a fan of capeshit, so I can't comment on his work there, but his work in Drive is quite solid. Of course, it is not as sophisticated as, say, Deakins' theory of what constitutes an engaging shot either, but it's aesthetically pleasing and it can even feel organic at times. It's just solid, I think.
