So we can all agree that this is the best American sitcom right?
You'd have to be high to think that.
>>70929804
HANGING OUT
>>70929824
DOWN THE STREET
Not the best, but the first two seasons really were outstanding.
>>70929877
THE SAME OLD PLACE
>>70929914
You fucked up
>>70929914
same old THING
Why was Jacky such a whore? She fucked 3/4 of the guys. Did a group of friends really do that in 70s pass a girl around like that?
>>70930047
Why was fez such a cuck?
>>70929804
was amazing for seasons 1-2, then good for season 3-4, 5-7 it really started to flag though, 7 was an average season but when Eric and Kelso left it became actual garbage, season 8 was complete shit not quite redeemed by an ok finale
>>70929804
>Red in the Navy for ww2 and Korean War
>none of his Korea stories and only one of his WW2 stories involve naval warfare, or boats and water at all
>all of them involve things he'd only have been able to do if he was fighting on land
why was this never explained
>>70929804
No.
>>70930267
he was a marine
what was the best episode?
>>70930320
but he wasn't though, he literally wears a navy uniform, and only refers to his war service as "in the navy"
why did they just make him a Marine to begin with
i finished marathoning it last week
how it became so shitty in the last couple of seasons?
seasons 4~6 are absolutely comfy, best show to watch stoned
>>70930267
>>70930320
he was in the navy, but he was a machinist, so he probably didn't see as much combat as others.
It's a great sitcom, but the Eric/Donna shit gets old after a while, especially when she goes blonde. You could tell by then that Topher was getting sick of playing the Eric character
Who was the funniest and why was it bob?
>>70930267
I think he was a navy corspman. Those guys fight along side Marines. The real problem is that his age (~50 around 1977) would have made him too young for world war ii, especially some of the earlier battles in the Pacific like Guadalcanal that he mentions.
>>70929804
Eric leaving was like Richie leaving Happy Days.
It was the end of the show.
I loved this show in high school but revisited it recently and it didn't laugh once. I guess because I'm not a teenage edgelord pothead anymore.
>>70930674
same here
>>70930589
How did bob pull two smoking hot girls at the same time?
>>70930201
>>70930631
wait what, Eric leaves?
fucking laugh tracks man
>>70930722
he goes to africa to be a teacher at the end of season 7
kelso left in s08e05 to work in a nightclub in chicago
they both returned to the finale
>>70929804
That's not Malcolm in the Middle. So no.
>>70930775
fucking Dindu's ruin everything
Who was the best and why was it Hyde?
>>70929804
Not at all
>>70930097
Tiny beaner dick
>>70930722
He leaves to Africa but irl supposedly it was for Spiderman 3 production since Topher is in it
>ywn fuck Kitty while Red masturbates in the corner
>>70930722
Yeah, apparently no one on the show liked him. Don't bother watching season 8 anyways. It's awful.
>>70932583
>ywn fuck Donna loudly in Eric's bed while Eric sits at the table downstairs and pretends not to hear
Why live
the laugh track was shit and the final season made me want to blow my brains out, but overall it's one of my favorites for sure.
>>70932789
>laugh track
Strangely, this was actually a studio audience, not canned laughter
They just really fucking loved the jokes
>>70932832
huh, I always thought they just used a shitload of different laugh samples for some reason. explains a lot.
>>70932832
>he believes in the studio audience meme
What a retard. Everything is laughtrack.
>>70932981
Watch the behind the scenes stuff for the show, dickfuck
They even had a dude to warm up the audience before scenes
It's not as witty as Married with Children
It's not as well written as Seinfeld
It's not as revolutionary as Friends
But
It is the most comfy sitcom of all time
I enjoyed it in my younger days. I wouldn't call it the best american sitcom though. I dont see M*A*S*H get much love on this board but that would be my vote.
HI FEZ
>>70933170
>the most comfy sitcom
not really
>le manly man dad
KYS OP
>>70930674
this tbqh tho im still a pothead technically
>>70933045
many shows record the laughter during the warm up "comedians" bits and then cut them up and play them over scenes. Nobody is laughing very hard on a scene that took 5 takes to do etc.
>>70933372
>nu-male cuck
I just wish it had a few more 'feelsy' episodes like Career Day.
