Could only choose five. Honda probably doesn't belong the list. But I thought he could use some exposure. Kubrick almost replaced him. Thought about Coppola, but he had quite a few misses. A young George Lucas gave the world A New Hope and American Graffiti. But an older Lucas gave the world the Prequel Trilogy. I considered listening Kurosawa, but I figured he would get enough attention. Ridley Scott also crossed my mind. Haven't seen enough Scorsese to comment. Nolan is solid though.
>>70887340
Stanley Kubrick
Oliver Stone
David Lynch
I'm not going to do any calculations. I just wanted to see what are /tv/'s favorite directors, and this kind of bait ended up being the one that worked to an extent. Anyway not seeing Orson in at least one third of posts means this board have shit taste and therefore their opinion must be disregarded.

>>70891025
I'm surprised it took this long.
It's gotta be lucas, nobody else even comes close
>>70891041
This long for what? Lang?
Herzog
Fellini
Bergman
Lynch
PTA
>>70891090
Lang coming late doesn't really offend me. Metropolis is a meme movie with a shit final act. I meant more the Whedon/Nolan memery. I'm not big on Bay or Snyder but I can see people sincerely liking them and not being plebs.
