I'm just saying everything that happened could have in some scenario actually happened, for example, the slash/stab/stab were all intestines height, its very possible that while piercing her abdominal wall none of these punctured her digestive tract, if true her survival chances are pretty good at this stage, blood loss is a risk but again, no artery sliced - good chance of being alright. In the water she is bleeding heavily and only in it for a few moments, sure she might get an infection but life threatening sepsis, for me depends on how dirty the knife is in that scenario more than the water.
