This movie looks like dogshit, which is sad because I actually think Wiig is a good fit for a Ghostbusters film. It should have been a sequel, starred a mostly new generation of Ghostbusters, but should have focused on Weavers son. The team should have been a good mix and men and women including Wiig.

And if you need to have something progressive, get a mixed gender team. Show both genders are equally.
Heck you could even make a parent/child controversy with one father thinking that women shouldnt go into danger. Resulting in the end as it wasnt "because you are female" but "i care about my daughter and was afraif she gets hurts" for a happy end for all.
