What's the most wasted potential you've seen in a movie?

This piece of shit
combined with its sequels of coursh
Not a movie, but for a show I'd say Bojack Horseman.
If its animation was garbage and if its writers didn't rely on wackyness as a crutch for comedy and had a better grasp of the story they were trying to tell it could have been great.
As is, it's ambitious but deeply flawed to the point of being a failure.

This by far.
The Hobbit has a greater story than the Lord of the Rings, with elements fsr surpassing it visually and in sustance. It was all lost on these movies, everything good about the Hobbit was lacking in these movies and even worse... The CGI fucked up all the potential crap they decided to put into... Like it could have been decent the way it was laid out for the films but the execution was fucking horrendus and the last battle was a fucking piece of shit with all the extra bullshit they decided to insert and half ass on delivery.
I had a high opinion on Peter Jackson but these 3, THREE, movies completely shat allover everything he had built as a director.

I can't believe we're still getting the trickling shit from Roger Corman's Death Race

as a lucid dreamer, this was just fucking shameful.

>disaster for not being something it wasn't trying to be
You fucking idiot. That's like saying Die Hard has shitty lore.
It wasn't trying to be a lucid dreaming sort of thing, just an action movie taking place inside a dream.

only if they actually had a story in this movie
