here is some advice for watching got, its a tv show so the only thing that matters is making every scene as effortless and entertaining as possible. Stuff like character motivations or logic have no place in the story and serve only to move the characters from one "shocking" telegraphed twist to the next. Trying to have jaime have character development would be hard and might confuse plebs so it doesnt happen. Arya getting stabbed was exciting and shocking in the moment, but as we can see from the next episode she can sprint through the street no problem. Areo goes down in one shot to a non vital spot because filming another fight scene would take effort. The black fish getting killed? to much effort and we dont need to see it anyway. Edmure ordering the castle to surrender for a son he has never seen and a wife he cant love because he has seen her 2-3 times max, he doesnt even know they are still alive and its based on the word of a man who he thinks is not trust worthy.
