I would say it has even more continuity than R&M. Basically a really long story, so far. Pay attention to the Monarch and Doc. Some speculate they are related or something. The show leaves hints about their history but nothing concrete. They're are some funny moments too

Ok so I'm gonna try it out later. I'm pretty sure the one I saw was from the middle of the show since I watched it on adult swim. I'm not a pleb that will quit after the first episode if it isn't good as long as it's something I'm actively trying to get into. But I do want to know if I'm going to have to deal with a couple shitty episodes or is it good from the start? No matter what I always give shows a whole season to pull me in, I'd just like to know in advance if I'm gonna be bored for the first few.

You definitely won't love the pilot the first time you watch it. The end scene of "Rick and Morty...forever...a hundred years Rick and Morty" might make you want to give up but they drop a lot of what makes the pilot grating. Or at least tone it down (Rick's burping from alcohol abuse, using Mortys name as a speech crutch)

I'm asking about venture bros. I've seen all of R&M through about 10 times. I actually don't have a problem with the things you were talking about. His burping would be natural, if you've ever lived around alcoholics that's how they are, him saying morty's name constantly was because plebs are fucking retarded and you have to say the main characters names 900 times in the first episode for them to understand who's who, and the Rick and Morty forever and ever shit was actually pretty funny. Not gutbustingly hilarious but I still chuckle at it whenever I watch that episode.
