It's still a ton of power behind a very tiny point, even really thick plate mail should not be able to prevent a weapon like that from piercing a hole with a direct hit right in the center.
Although it would definitely stop the bulk of the weapon when the nail goes up to the hilt, and it's big enough that the point would only barely reach the skin through all that space and padding.

Qyburn brought him back, and fixed his eyes, but they're still poked which is why they're so red.
Sand Snakes will ambush Cersei and the High Sparrow at the trial, and when Sandor knocks off his helm, revealing it to be Dhornish, the Sand Sneks team up with the Mountain and the Hound who knows his brother's heart is in there also teams up to fight a powered up High Sparrow who uses magic to fight in addition to a horde of regular Sparrers and at the end when all is almost lost and HSparrow is about to finish Cersei *SWOOSH* a dragon flies by and bites his head off and carries it back to the Pyramid, where it first drops the head off onto the pirate ship of that guy sailing to meet Queen of Dragons before the credits roll for the season.
