I watched this movie twice in one week because I immediately forgot everything about it after watching it the first time and didn't realize until halfway through the second viewing that I had already seen it that week.

I don't remember a thing about the plot of this movie. I liked it though. Entertaining enough.
The Director's Cut fixes everything.
It's very dreamy, it's what Miami Vice should have been. Easily claimed a berth on my annual rewatch list. Mann is a chameleon, Mann is Manet who mixes his paints: Collateral had a Training Day feel, Blackhat has a Johnny To influence. Streetpunk, hardboiled and picture perfect all at the same time.

I disregard any comment that refers to Hemsworth's character in this movie as Thor. I haven't seen those movies so they don't colour my impression of him in this movie at all. A dumb comment from people who always refer to actors by the name of their most well-known character.
Nothing, film was fine. Occasionally great.
Hemsworth's physical presence didn't match his character, he was way too massive... At least, for me. An actor like Ryan Gosling would have been perfect though.
