Watch the A list releases
It starts with snow white and goez to zootopia
if I remember correctly Tangled is the 100th movie so zootopia is the 104th
watch the best B list like A Goofy movie and some shorts like Smike Darn Ya Smile
>>
>>70795229
oh pardon me Tangled is the 50th A list
>>
>>70794774

No. Start at the beginning and then go chronologically. You can probably skip the WWII era stuff, because it was made on a paper-thin budget and used a ton of recycled animations and music. This includes:

>Victory Through Air Power
>Make Mine Music
>Fun and Fancy Free
>Melody Time

I would also advise to steer clear of most of the stuff from 2000-2008, considering most of it is shit. This would be:

>Treasure Planet
>Brother Bear
>Home on the Range
>Chicken Little
>Meet the Robinsons
>Bolt
>>
>>70795571
Treasure Planet is worth one viewing
>>
>>70795571

>treasure planet
>shit

opinion discarded
>>
What is the best one? Assuming you like the 3D and 2D animation equally
>>
>>70795571
I liked Brother Bear. Music is good
>>
>>70795643
Hunchback. Mute the gargoyle song.
>>
>>70795571
>bolt
>shit

I said most of it is shit. And Treasure Planet and Bolt would be the only two from that era that I would consider watching.

First read the classics they stole from, then you'll see the movies for what they are
>>
>>70795907
>stole
Most of those stories are older than atoms.
>>
>>70795907
visual representations of those stories?
>>

What this guy >>70795571 said in the first part. Start with Snow White, then skip everything in between Bambi and Cinderella, there are no classics to be found, just very bland propaganda films and uninteresting musical montages/short stories packaged together (All of the real talent went to fight during the war, leaving the company in a drought of creativity). Continue chronologically from there.
I disagree with the second half of this anon's post though, the only ones there I didn't like were Chicken Little and Home on the Range. I found the others pretty solid and underrated, but to each his own

How can this start off so on point then get ridiculously wrong? Though I agree, Home on the Range is hands down the worst one they ever made
>>
>>70796258
most are very different from the original tales. not that it matters though.

People actually consciously decide to sit down and start watching Disney animation? They haven't had everything made up until their childhood simply shown to them by parents/teachers/caregivers?

If you watch ever movie referenced in Kingdom Hearts, you'll see all the worthwhile ones.

Prove me wrong.

>>70797555
very good list bruh

Make Fantasia 2000 a OK
and Give Little Mermade 1 more green check

Tarzan surprised me,most people dont get how dank a movie that is

a man is literally killed by nature(vines) because of his blind desire to control man.
>>
>>70797940
You have to rewatch a lot of the stuff from say 85 to 1999

because you where probably to stupid to know if the movies where good or not.

But you'll miss all the great Disney racism.

Stop when they start making the 3D video game garbage.
