if it stayed true to the source material, a live action Dead Space would be cool if handled correctly. Wouldn't even have to have Isaac as the main character, maybe it could be from the perspective of someone experiencing the events unfolding firsthand.

Although I can't imagine what the story would be. I often feel it would be totally okay to make a movie about a lone, nameless hero making his way through a land with any of the dark, demons or bloodborne style settings, fighting random monsters, etc.
