I realized it when I read the book. But the film is extremely well done.
I find it interesting how nobody draws comparisons between Fight Club and Seven Years in Tibet since they have similar themes about finding your identity as a man, and both star Brad Pitt.

When the movie came out, I expected it to be shitty. It wasn't, even though they changed the ending.
This movie gets shit on a lot here, I suppose because it was Babby's First Existentialism for a lot of people and they see it as immature. Fuck it. It's a good movie that has something to say, however obvious it might seem, and is still fun.
